2-Vehicle Car Accident on US-19 in Pinellas County Kills Man

October 14, 2011 - Pinellas County, Fla. - According to a news story from Bay News 9, a 2-vehicle car accident near US-19 and SR-580 killed a man on Sunday afternoon.

The car accident occurred at around 12:45 p.m., October 9. When Jeffrey Spink, 57, of Dunedin, had just left work he attempted to cross over several lanes of traffic on SR-580. He was struck by another vehicle, driven by Jessica Feihl, 18, of Safety Harbor. There is no word on whether or not she was injured.

However, Spink was transported to Mease Countryside Hospital where he died.

So far there are no charges in the accident and police continuing an investigation.
