

February 15, 2012 – Ruskin, Fla. – In a report from Bay News 9, 3 men were killed in a single-vehicle car crash on U.S. 41.
The fatal car crash took place about 3 a.m. on Sunday, February 5.
Eri Venegas-Zuniga, 29, of Wimauma; Jesus Jaime, 29, of Gibsonton; and Abdiel Cruz, 27, of Ruskin, were heading northbound on U.S. 41 when the driver lost control of a 2001 Ford Expedition. It is not known at this time which man was the driver of the vehicle.
After the driver lost control, the SUV went onto a grassy median. It started overturning, causing all 3 men who were not wearing seatbelts, to be ejected. The victims all sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene of the accident.
