

November 3, 2011 - St. Petersburg, Fla. - According to a report from 10 News WTSP, a Pinella County Animal Control truck flipped over Monday morning, October 31, after colliding with a car.
The car accident occurred on 5th Avenue South and 37th Street South. The cause of the accident was the car driving through a red light.
The collision caused the truck to flip over, so much so that the firefighters were needed to free the driver. In addition, firefighters rescued a cat and 2 dogs, which were located inside compartments at the top of the vehicle. The animals didn't appear to be injured.
The driver of the car was treated at the scene of the accident but was then taken to an area hospital for observation.
