October 22, 2010 - Sarasota, FL - A single-vehicle crash on Tuttle Avenue marked the end of a driver's multi-accident drive through Sarasota on Oct. 15.
ABC7 MySuncoast.com reports that the driver began his accident streak in a parking lot of a condominium, leaving the scene immediately. He then proceeded onto Tuttle Avenue where he traveled south, striking another vehicle that was stopped at a red light.
According to Sarasota Police, the driver failed to stop at the second car accident as well, heading through the intersection where he lost control of the vehicle, scraped against a tree, and rolled over into a ditch.
EMS responded and found the driver unresponsive inside his vehicle. He was transported by air rescue to Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg where his name and condition have not been released. Police continue to investigate the multiple car accidents and have not yet released details about what may have caused this behavior.
