Man Discovered Dead in Pinellas Park, Believed to be Hit by Car

January 27, 2012 – Pinellas Park, Fla. – According to a report from the Tampa Bay Times, a man who was found dead around 8 p.m. on Saturday, January 21, is believed to have been hit by a car.

Police are still investigating a man’s death, near the intersection of 49^th Street and 102^nd Avenue. His identity is still unknown.

Shortly after the discovery of his body, a car fire on the other side of 49^th Street where he had been found had to be put out. Authorities were looking into whether or not this was related to the man who was fatally injured.
