Car Accidents

With all of the bad choices other drivers make, every ride in your car has the potential to end in tragedy.  In 2007, according to the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles, there were approximately 702 crashes every day in Florida.  As a result of these accidents, there were 212,149 injuries and 3,221 fatalities.

Fighting Insurance Companies
Insurance companies have certainly helped many people reclaim their lives after a car crash.  However, at the end of the day, insurance companies are for-profit businesses looking out for their bottom lines.  If you have been the victim of an accident, and the other party is to blame, you will most likely have to deal with their insurance company.

A claims adjuster’s job is to settle every matter for the smallest amount possible.  You may receive an offer that seems fair, but only an attorney well versed in personal injury law can help you correctly assess the long term repercussions of your accident.  The cost of lost wages and the amount of physical and psychological therapy needed in the future may be much higher than you think.

Experience You Can Count On

I have been fighting for the rights of accident victims in Florida for over 20 years.  Working exclusively for the injured, I have handled thousands of personal injury cases in this state.  At the Law Offices of William K. Saron, P.A. you will be treated as an individual, not just another file.  I only take on cases I believe in, and I work one-on-one with each and every client.

If you are more comfortable speaking in a language other than English we offer services in Spanish, French and Creole.

Don’t Wreck Your Injury Case
After an auto accident there are some critical decisions to be made.  Seemingly small details can have a huge effect on your case.   By following a few simple steps you can help ensure that you get the compensation you deserve.  Don’t let a simple mistake wreck your injury case.

Steps to take after an auto accident:
  1. If you are injured do not decline medical treatment.
  2. Make sure a police report gets filed and get copies.  If you are being charged with a violation invoke your right to an attorney.
  3. Only discuss the accident with the police and do not admit fault or liability.
  4. Get the names, addresses, phone numbers, license plate numbers and insurance information of all involved.
  5. Report the accident to your insurance agent as soon as possible, but do not make any statements about the severity of your injuries.  Leave that up to your doctors.
  6. Do not give a recorded statement to the other side's insurance company.
  7. Do not sign any insurance paperwork without the advice of an attorney.
